EN: This cannon sits along the shore of St. Pierre, its rusted body serving no further purpose but to constantly remind passers-by of the rich history of this beautiful island.
Okay, so my time in Quebec has been a blast so far! I’ve been placed in Intermediate 2B class, which is pretty impressive, and I’ve been learning how to dance the Charleston. Yes, that’s right. Last night I went downtown to old Quebec and saw “Loved Ones” play at the Plains of Abraham. It rained, and I had just happened to forget to bring both my sweater and $30 umbrella which I bought yesterday, but I did have my dork-ish poncho that I bought in Corner Brook before I left. It was a pretty cool experience! I don’t really know what I’m going to do today, I might go back downtown with Kyra to see some more concerts and chill. It’s supposed to be 26°C so I might just bake. lol. Anyway, First blog post from Quebec City, hopefully once I get all my Saint-Pierre pics up, I’ll put some up from here!
FR: Ce cannon se trouve sur la côte de Saint-Pierre, son corps a rouillé et il n’y a pas d’objectif mais ne pas oublier l’histoire riche de cette belle île.
